My name is Navi Schiff, and I am a 20-year-old student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Sharing my ideas of social change and conveying them through artistic purposes have always been my passion. As a young kid I was heavily influenced by the idea of taking a photograph, and when I was about 9 years old my parents gifted me a small fisher price camera. Ever since then I felt it was my calling to follow the arts. This lead me to explore a variety of mediums including writing, painting, drawing, videography, installation, sculpture print design and sound art. Pushing me to create the things I put out into the world and the subtle glimpse reconstruction it could implement into society to impact the world for a higher quality of life. I want to educate people about the issues I see important around us and highlight the ways in which each of us can improve for the betterment of the earth we all take a part of existing in. Through activism I choose to partake in a generation that can come together to voice our concerns, and through my art my voice is being echoed.
